Basking shark landed in Fouesnant, France

In the morning of Friday, 22. April 2016, two fishermen found this basking shark (over 3,50 metres long and about 300 kg) entangled in their fishing net off Cap-Coz in the bay of La Forêt-Fouesnant. The location is situated in the commune of Fouesnant, in the Finistère department of Brittany (north-western France). The young basker will be autopsied at the Biological Station of Concarneau.
