Huge Manta ray reportedly caught in Peru

According to local media reports, this large manta ray was caught in Peru on 18. April 2015.

The catch was made by artisanal fishermen about 8 miles off Caleta La Cruz in the province of Tumbes. It is reported that the manta measured 8 metres in length and about 1.000 kg in weight. ( Sources: Canal N, lmneuquen, El Comercio )
