9News: Shark Encounter Hasn’t Put Off Surfer

A surfer’s had a terrifying close encounter with a shark off Denmark, the predator taking a bite from her board and throwing her into the water.

Lily Kumpe, 37, was surfing at Denmark’s Ocean Beach at 9am on Wednesday (24/06/2015) morning when the shark struck and took a chunk out of her board.
