Netwerk24: KZNSB to test electronic shark repellent cable in Cape Town

The KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board (KZNSB) will begin testing an electronic shark repellent cable in an attempt to prevent future shark attacks. The 100 metres long cable will be installed parallel to the shore at Glencairn beach in Cape Town next month. It will be activated on certain days during daylight hours from the beginning of November until the end of March 2015. A PDF-file with additional information is available here.
