Large Mako Shark washed up in Campeche, Mexico

Mexico, 21/05/2014: This dead mako shark ( reported to be 2,90 metres long, other source: 2,50 m ) was found washed up next to the waterfront avenue in Campeche, located on the shore of the Bay of Campeche in the Gulf of Mexico. The shark had an injury to its back and was taken to the ‘Centro Regional de Investigaciones Pesqueras’ (CRIP) to determine the cause of death.
