Video: Snorkeler bitten by shark in New Caledonia – 25 Dec 2013

Wednesday ( Dec 25.) morning at 10 am, a 37-years old man was bitten by a shark while snorkeling in the waters off Hienghène in New Caledonia. The victim suffered injuries to his left calf. Following this attack, the mayor of Hienghène has decided to prohibit swimming at all beaches from Thursday ( Dec 26.) until further notice ( related article here ).
