Great White Shark caught in Japan in 1999

09. July 1999 – Honshu Island , Japan:
A great white shark ( 5.3 metres in length ) captured close to shore off the coast of Murozumi in the Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Are you kidding me? I thought I was watching the sequel of the epic Godzilla vs. Ebirah (the sea monster) movie. Or one of the fisherman pulling out the beta capsule and turning into Ultraman, beating the poor shark to a pulp. Do they have to kill everything just for the sake of killing a mean looking fish? Shame.
