Shark bites surfer at St. Augustine Beach

ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla. — A surfer is recovering after shark attack at St. Augustine Beach.

The 38-year-old was bitten on the foot in the water near A Street just before 1 p.m., Thursday. St. Johns County Fire and Rescue described the injury as minor. He was transported to Flagler Hospital for further evaluation.
