Mako shark found beached in France

Location: Lit-Et-Mixe, Aquitaine, France.
Species: Shortfin mako shark (Isurus oxyrinchus).
Size: said to be 2.5 metres in length.

The dead specimen was found on a beach at Lit-Et-Mixe,
which is located in the south-western part of France (on the
southern coast of the Bay of Biscay).
