Great White Shark caught in Japan earlier this year

Date: 01. February 2012.

Location: Kyushu Island, Japan.

Species: Great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias).

The white shark got entangled in a set-net off the coast of Kagoshima Prefecture in Kyushu,
the southernmost island of Japan. The source does not provide much details about this capture.
In November 2010, a bigger specimen was caught in Kochi Prefecture, which is also located
in the southern part of Japan (see here).
