Yemen (1) – Sharks at Hodeidah Market

Quote: These rushes was shooted in Yemen at Hodeida on the red sea coast with an old dv camcorder. If some sequences could be disturbing, one of them (00h05’43″00) is very interresting : old and big female shark is disemboweled and i was able to count 52 babies shark; i think it’s rare. Then i want to specify that fishing was not industrial but with old and little boat, fishes, sharks, rays was for food and if shark’s fin was cutted, sharks was not throw back to the sea but eat !
