Tiger shark caught in Brazil

Date: 30. September 2011.

Location: Orla da Atalaia, State of Sergipe, Brazil.

Species: Tiger shark ( Galeocerdo cuvier ).

Size: reported to be ca. 2 metres in length.

The fishermen captured the shark in the vicinity of the Petrobras offshore oil-platforms, about 3.5 km from the coast.
