L’Unione Sarda is reporting that the partly devoured carcass of a dolphin was discovered on the cliffs of Nora, a small town located in the southern part of the Island of Sardinia.

The discovery was made by Giuseppe Ollano from the Cetaceans and Sea Turtle Rescue Centre in Pula.

The biologist Luca Zinzula has examined the remains of the dolphin and he has come to the conclusion that the bite-wounds might have been caused by a great white shark of at least three metres in length.
