Record Porbeagle Shark in Denmark

Date: 26. August 2011

Location: Thyborøn, Jutland, Denmark.

Species: Porbeagle shark ( Lamna nasus ).

Size: 94.5 kg  ( 208 lb  5.38 oz )

The angler caught this specimen about 100 nm out

in the North Sea. It’s a potential new Danish record.

( current record: 47 kg caught in 2009 ).
