Guam Shark Tsunami

Students from Simon Sanchez High School and George Washington High School testify at the Guam Senate on behalf of sharks. The students fill the public hearing room and testify to ban the sale, trade, and possession of shark fins. There are so many students supporting shark protections at the hearing that the three protesters from the Western Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Council have to wait outside the hearing room for their turn to speak. Ultimately, the students are successful and Guam becomes the third place in the world to ban shark fins.
