Greek fishermen catch big shark

Date: 20. August 2011.

Location: Diakopto, Achaea, Greece.

Species: Bluntnose Sixgill Shark ( Hexanchus griseus ).

Size: said to be 4.5 metres in length.

The shark got entangled in a fishing net.

It has been misidentified as a basking shark by the Greek media.
