According to the French media,
the carcass of a big hammerhead shark (Sphyrna spp.) was found on the shore of a small cove
at Cap Corse, a 40 km long peninsula located at the northern part of Corsica Island.
The badly decomposed shark, which was reported to be 4 metres in length, was discovered on 4th July 2011.
