Vietnamese Fisherman captures Sharks

Nguyen Van Luyen, a fisherman from Quy Nhon city in the central province of Binh Dinh, has caught six sharks in the waters off Quy Nhon in the past two weeks.On the evening of September 12, Luyen caught two sharks, weighing 20kg each, in the Hon Dat area. He sold the sharks to traders for around $100. One week ago, he also caught four sharks in the same area. Local fishermen say they often fish for ‘small sharks’ and sell them to traders at the price of VND50,000-100,000 ($2.5-5) per kilo and VND2-3 million ($80-130) for a set of fins.
