SMALL ENTITY COMPLIANCE GUIDE
Final 2013 – 2015 Fishery Specifications
Effective date: May 1, 2013

NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service has approved final catch limits, quotas, and trip limits for the spiny dogfish fishery for the 2013, 2014, and 2015 fishing years ( beginning May 1, 2013 ).

The following measures have been approved:

• Annual Catch Limits (ACLs)
  o 2013 = 54.295 million lb
  o 2014 = 55.277 million lb
  o 2015 = 55.063 million lb

•  Annual Coastwide Commercial Quotas
  o 2013 = 40.842 million lb (+14% from 2012)
  o 2014 = 41.784 million lb (+17% from 2012)
  o 2015 = 41.578 million lb (+16% from 2012)

• Commercial possession limit = 4,000 lb per trip (an increase of 1,000 lb from 2012)
