Los Angeles news affiliate KTLA has the video of a potentially world record breaking shark caught off the coast of Southern California. Jason Johnson caught the 12 foot long, 1,300 pound mako shark off the coast of Huntington Beach in Los Angeles, CA. He said it took two hours to reel in. While this may be the biggest mako shark ever caught, the biggest shark ever caught was in 1959 by Alf Dean, who caught a 2,664 lb Great White in Australia.

Disgusting, murderous, thug Jason Johnston tortured & caught this beautiful Mako. This so called ‘man’ has shown how unintelligent, vicious & pathetic he is and is the perfect example of the low-life humans who think this is ‘sport’. I believe very bad ‘karma’ will eventually come upon this man & I can only hope it is in the form of a shark. I do not apologize for what I say, because these kind of people do not care for our marine environment & by destroying every animal in the name of ‘sport’, they show how small minded & ruthless they are.
